Scale : is a tuning system including twelve notes,each of these notes has a special name called a scale degree and there are a distances ( whole steps or half steps ) between each two notes.
- The first note ( I ) is called a tonic.
- The second note( II ) is called a supertonic
- The third note ( III ) is called a mediant.
- The fourth note ( IV ) is called a subdominant
- The fifth note ( V ) is called a dominant.
- The sixth note ( VI ) is called a submediant
- If the distance between seventh note ( VII ) and eighth note is a half step the seventh note called a leading tone
if the distance whole step the seventh note called a subtonic.

- Melodic minor :
  ascending : to be formed.convert the natural harmonic with rise the sixth

if we start and end the C majore scale from the D note (supertonic) this wil be

if we start and end  from the E note (mediant) this wil be
Phrygian mode :formula is h w w w h w w

if we start and end from the F note (Subdominant) this wil be
Lydian mode : formula is w w w h w w h
if we start and end from the G note (Dominant) this wil be
Mixolydian mode : formula is w w h w w h w


if we start and end from the A note (Submediant) this wil be
Aeolian mode : formula is w h w w h w w
